All this week, you can hear classic Essential Mixes chosen by Radio 1 DJs. On Monday 24, Annie Nightingale chooses Daft Punk from 1997. On Tuesday (Christmas Day) it’s David Holmes’ Northern Soul mix chosen by Zane Lowe. On Wednesday 26, the legendary Paul Oakenfold Goa-inspired mix from 1994 is played out courtesy of Pete Tong. Thursday 27 sees a replay of the Tiesto mix from 2001 thanks to Judge Jules, and on Friday 28 Annie Mac presents 2005’s Radio Soulwax mix.
